<p><strong>Research interests</strong></p><p>My research has focused on the discursive
work performed by families and individuals affected by health and mental health related
issues. I am interested in issues around parenting, in particular, how identities
are constructed within discourse and how individuals take up and resist these identities
in everyday practices.</p><p>Methodologically, I am mainly (but not exclusively) interested
in critical approaches to social psychology, including discursive, psychoanalytic,

<p>I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a registered therapist working in private
practice. I am trained in psychodynamic and person-centred methods and am a qualified
supervisor. Until recently, I was an Associate Lecturer on several Psychology modules
including DE300, DD317, D240& DD310. I have also worked as a children's play
therapist</p><p><strong>Professional Membership</strong></p><p>I belong to the British
Psychological Society and am a member of the Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section
and the Psychology of Women and Equalities Section</p><p>I am a registered member
of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy</p> |
