biography |
<p>I'm a PhD student in the Department of Environment, Earth and Ecosystems. My
research focusses on trying to understand Ar/Ar age variations within basaltic lava
flows.</p><p>Using basaltic lava flows from the Faroe Islands Basalt Group (FIBG),
I will be using a combination of XRF, XRD, Ar-Ar step heating and electron microprobe
analyses to deduce the effects of both pre-emplacement and post-emplacement factors
on the Ar/Ar age signature.</p> |
