I am a PhD student at KMi, Open University working under the supervision of Dr. Harith
Alani and Dr. Miriam Fernandez. My interests are around mining and understanding what
the users talk about over the social media in the context of their interests, situations,
and feedback etc. The focus is on building up tools utilising the various Information
Retrieval techniques enveloped by NLP and Machine Learning techniques, and also exploring
the scope of leveraging the semantic web in order to generate knowledge out of a data
which is voluminous and unstructured in nature. |
