<p>Currently working as a Research Assistant with the Biodiversity Observatory, focusing
mainly on the<a href="http://www.ispot.org.uk/">iSpot project</a>. iSpot helps people
to share their wildlife observations, get help in identifying what they have seen,
and learn about wildlife. iSpot is part of the<a href="http://www.open.ac.uk/choose/ou/openscience">OpenScience
Laboratory</a>.<br /><br />Martin's interests in biodiversity include the conservation
of terrestrial invertebrates, biological recording and data management. His previous
work includes running the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Environmental Records
Centre, and as Biodiversity Data Manager for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife
Trust.</p><p> </p><p>Martin is a council member and editor for the<a href="http://www.nfbr.org.uk/">National
Forum for Biological Recording</a>.</p> |
