abstract |
This chapter provides an interpretation of the trajectory of reform of the European
Commission according to the ‘neo-Weberian model’ (Pollitt and Bouckaert, 2004, 2011;
Pollitt et al., 2008), by contrasting it with both the ‘Weberian model’ and the New
Public Management (NPM) doctrines about the organization of the public sector. |
