Agave victoriae-reginae is justifiably popular as a beautiful architectural
plant. There are, however, similar, closely related species, notably A. nickelsiae
(formerly known as A. ferdinandi-regis) and the recently described (hence unfamiliar)
A. pintilla which are equally beautiful. All three species are discussed both
in cultivation and in habitat. |
